Meet Our Team
Usheevii (U-she-va) King, is the executive manager for GoldRush Films. With a background in the business practice of law, Usheevii manages the operations of GoldRush Films by ensuring the company's clients, actors, directors, and other partners have an excellent experience and things necessary to complete projects. Furthermore, she ensures the company and its partners are compliant and operating according to best practices in the industry. Additionally, she moonlights as GoldRush Films make-up artist and is the lead creative/costume director for The Misconception of Donald Jones, Cigars and Conversations, and the upcoming feature film Hound Dog.
Gil Rushford is the founder of GoldRush Films. With over 10 years of experience in the music industry and 20 plus years writing music and always having a passion for movies, he made the transition from music to films. Gil just didn't want to become a film writer and producer, he wanted to be in the position to create content and films that are unique, real, imaginative and stories that are relatable to the communities he grew up in. So, he created GoldRush Films, a production company that provides opportunities for the next generation of actors, writers, filmmakers, directors, and movie producers.
Tishawn L. Farrar is an upcoming actor that has been in the profession for over 13 years. He's trained at the Creative Acting Company, the School of Dramatic Arts, and Breaking into Hollywood - a crash course in acting. Tishawn started his acting career in theatre, where he developed the skill for portraying different characters and understanding the importance of wardrobe. His first film role was playing Detective Shaw in the episodic series The Misconception of Donald Jones. Currently, he is co-writing his first feature film, Houng Dog, with founder GoldRush Films founder, Gil Rushford.
D’Avion Middleton is the Production Assistant for GoldRush Films. She is a professional creative and New Jersey native formally educated in Filmmaking and Writing. D’Avion wrote her first short story at age 11 and has gone on to win accolades for her more recent works. At GoldRush, she keeps production running smoothly throughout the filmmaking process.
Born and raised in Newark Nj Keith Farmer first started working background work in 2013 before attending the New Jersey schools Dramatic Arts Program breaking into Hollywood studios and THE CRAFT Acting with Yolanda Hunt. With +10 years of experience, Keith has done various commercials and photo shoots before his first leading role in "The Misconception of Donald Jones" But within that Role, it's when He decided to become more than just An Actor. Fueled by a growing passion for Writing Producing and working hand-in-hand with Actors Goldrush Films is the only place Where Keith can work freely to make a change in the industry one film at a time
